Make A Plan

Your child is struggling, and you’re not sure why.

You’ve done everything you know how to do, but nothing’s fully clicked…

At Sound Psychology Services, we specialize in pediatric neuropsychological evaluations that give you the whole picture.
Unlike many evaluations that only test for one thing – like ADHD or autism – we look across a wide range of learning, attention, emotional, and developmental differences. We do this because testing that is too narrow often leads to missed diagnoses, wasted interventions, and more frustration down the line.

Our approach helps families finally understand how their child learns and what they need to thrive in school, at home, and everywhere in between.

See The Whole Picture

Specialized evaluations for neurodevelopmental differences

We provide detailed in-person assessments that explain how your child’s brain works, including learning, attention, memory, behavior, and emotional well-being, so nothing important gets missed.

Our comprehensive evaluation is not diagnosis-limited, so we can see the whole picture and make thoughtful, personalized recommendations. Below are some of the common diagnoses that show up.

What Makes Sound Psychology Services Different?

The clarity you need without the wait, confusion, or insurance red tape.

  • Quick Turnaround
Reports are delivered faster because when your child’s struggling, you shouldn’t have to wait months for answers.
  • Detailed, Strengths-Based Reports
Our evaluations are easy to understand and focus on what’s working, not just what’s hard. You’ll leave with real insight and actionable steps.
  • Personalized Experience
We take the time to get to know your child, not just their scores. Every evaluation is customized, unrushed, and led by Dr. Jen personally.
  • Freedom from Insurance Limits
We don’t let insurance dictate your child’s care. That means more time with your provider, complete privacy, and one flat fee with no surprise charges.

You also get Dr. Jen McDonald, a board certified pediatric neuropsychologist who’s walked this road herself as a parent, and who treats every child as her own.

Meet Dr. Jen McDonald

Mom. Neuropsychologist.
Partner in your child’s journey.

I work with bright kids who don’t fit neatly into the boxes.

The complex learners who try so hard, yet still fall behind.

The careful thinkers who melt down over homework.

The energetic, playful ones who can’t sit still in class.

The kids who struggle socially because they engage on a different level.

I look past the label of “hard to deal with” to uncover the real story driving their behavior—and to help families finally see the full picture.
